The Forest of Hands and Teeth

Listen. Here’s a great book. (Ok, I haven’t read it yet because I am busy, but it is the top of my pile. Didn’t I mention End of Quarter junk?)

Carrie Ryan’s Debut is finally here. And the one thing it needs is a better cover. By better, I mean me.

As you can see, I would make this cover FAR more attractive. But even so, I question the pose.

I thought something with a butt shot would be a little more appealing.

Like this:

Oh that’s much better!

Let’s stick to the rules!!!

Ok, I’m trying to implement some rules to this. Clearly there are more covers that I could improve, just by being the cover model, than I can keep up with. With that said, Justine was bummed out because she isn’t in Australia and I thought this might help.

Cover Model

SO! The rules are, any novel I get an ARC for, I’ll do a cover. All others are if the mood strikes me. Seems fair, right?

Adrian Phoenix!

Adrian ROCKS!

And now she has a website and the COVER of her DEBUT NOVEL – A RUSH OF WINGS

I’m going to see if she’ll send me an ARC so I can read and do a cover pose.

I could totally do that pose!

In my on going quest to become a Romance Novel Cover Model, I present Stray, by Rachel Vincent.

Not much more can be said at the moment as I am currently reading World War Z and preparing for a ten year war against zombies.

Noah, I want you to send me an ARC.

Headless Boy in Cape has a copy of Headless Girl in Cape II

Inside the cover, Diana writes “Yours in 312″ which I have taken to mean that she wants me in Chicago.

I read it cover to cover last night, so I am a little tired at the moment. Maybe there will be more later. Book reviews aren’t necessarily my strength as my interpretation of the plot may or may not be so accurate.

On my two point rating scale, Good or Bad, this book rates a Phenomenal. A must read when it is available to the rest of the unwashed masses!
