A year ago, today, I bought my house. My first ‘built’ house. From its humble beginnings as a flat piece of land

It grew into the wonderful house that it is today. Though it still is lacking a pool.

The plan was so simple… I was going to buy the house at the bottom of the market, add a pool and re-assess my house with the pool and the market coming back up to get the PMI removed. Rent my old house for a year. Sell that for a decent gain and be sitting pretty.

Well, at least I bought the house. I learned a lot about things to ask and do when having a house built.
